IT Officer – Global Support - Cameroon, Mali, Senegal, Kenya

Organisation Background Founded in 2011, the International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO) is an international non-governmental organisation that supports humanitarian aid workers by establishing safety coordination platforms in insecure contexts. INSO provides registered NGOs with a range of free services, including real-time incident tracking, analytical reports, safety-related data and mapping, crisis management support, staff orientations and training. INSO works in 26 of the world’s most insecure countries, with its headquarters in The Hague, the international city of peace and justice.

Overall Purpose of Role

The Senior IT Officer is primarily responsible for providing IT and application support to all INSO offices and for implementing projects centred around organisational IT standardisation and compliance. A position requirement is to travel to INSO country missions for project-based periods, to implement projects and provide hands-on support at the relevant locations.
