Quarry Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quarry Manager to join our team in Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our quarry, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the quarry, including production planning, scheduling, and monitoring
• Ensure that all quarry activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Develop and implement strategies to improve quarry efficiency and productivity
• Manage and supervise a team of quarry staff, including operators, mechanics, and administrative personnel
• Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that quarry production meets customer demands
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all safety protocols are followed
• Develop and implement training programs for quarry staff to improve their skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quarry management, preferably in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of quarry operations, including production planning, scheduling, and monitoring
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
